Zika virus(ZIKV) came into the picture in the human race for last many decades, but the World Health Organization announced it as a matter of public health emergency of global concern in February 2016 [1]. It is transmitted by Aedes sp. mosquitoes, a well-established causative agent for cerebral defects like microcephaly in newborn and neurotropic disorders like Guillain-Barré syndrome, meningoencephalitis, and acute myelitis [2].
