A 79-year-old Caucasian female presented with a three-week history of an intensely pruritic blistering eruption on the abdomen, chest, and extremities bilaterally. The lesions consisted of tense vesicles and bullae of variable sizes containing serous fluid (Fig. 1A, B). The lesions appeared in clusters on an erythematous base, interspersed with areas of crusting and denuded bullae. There was no involvement of the mouth or mucous membranes.
