European School of Internal Medicine: The First Winter School in January 2011
EFIM is delighted to announce the dates of its first Winter School, to be held at the Kongresszentrum in Saas-Fee, Switzerland from the 16 until the 22 January 2011. In order to accomodate the always increasing number of excellent applications for the EFIM Summer School, EFIM decided to open a winter school, to be held in the Swiss Mountains from January 2011.
Applicants should contact their National Societies to participate in the course. A maximum of 2/3 delegates per country will be accepted, for a total of 40 delegates. Costs are to be covered by National Societies. More details

Join us in Luzern for EFIM first High Level Scientific Day!
EFIM is delighted to announce its first high-level scientific day, to be taking place in Luzern on the 24th of September 2010. This event will feature 2 panel discussions and 3 update talks from eminent European specialists. p>
Attendance is free, but space is limited.

The next Administrative Council and General Assembly will take place in Luzern, Switzerland, on the 25th of September, in conjunction with EFIM’s first High Level Scientific Day.
During this meeting please note that we will:
- Select a venue for our spring 2011 meeting (requirements enclosed) deadline 25 August
- Select a Congress venue for 2014 (set of documents enclosed) deadline 31st July
- Elect two new members of the Executive Committee: First vice-president (president elect) and second vice-president. Candidacies must arrive with CVs and a letter of intentions by the 25th August and all candidacies need to be supported by another national society.
