The successful ECIM 2021 Virtual Congress demonstrated that we need a place to connect and share our experiences<\/strong> now more than ever. It is our priority to facilitate acquiring expert knowledge, learning, and sharing experiences and discussing the latest breakthrough in the clinical areas related to internal medicine.<\/p>\n

ECIM 2022 will once again focus on sharing innovative developments and providing a comprehensive overview of state-of-the art treatment of common conditions in internal medicine<\/strong> practice. The slogan of ECIM 2022, \u201cInternal Medicine in the Front Line of Health Care<\/strong>\u201d, highlights the leading role that internal medicine plays in providing health care to communities, particularly in the current environment. The current COVID-19 pandemic has confirmed the Internal Medicine must be one of the cornerstones of the European health care systems. Our holistic person-centered approach has been crucial to understand this new complex and multisystemic disease, to provide a comprehensive care to patients and to assure an efficient use of the resources.<\/p>\n

We are excited to bring together physicians, young researchers, and leaders in the field<\/strong>, and provide a lively platform to learn and share their knowledge and views in a creative and engaging setting at the beautiful city of Malaga. The three-day programme built around excellent scientific abstract presentations, educational sessions and cutting-edge lectures given by experts in internal medicine will guarantee a memorable congress.<\/p>\n

Malaga is one of Spain\u2019s oldest cities and a recognized cultural hub bursting with places to explore. From the attention-grabbing Pompidou Centre and ever-popular Museum Picasso to the street-art-cloaked streets of its edgy Soho district. The hallmarks of Malaga\u2019s its rich past are scattered across the city.<\/p>\n
