Peripheral artery disease (PAD) affects about 8.5 million Americans aged ≥ 40 years and is associated with significant morbidity and mortality [1]. In patients with claudication, a supervised exercise therapy (SET) is a class I recommendation to improve functional status and QoL and to reduce leg symptoms, and endovascular revascularization (EVR) is a IIa recommendation for the patient with lifestyle-limiting claudication with an inadequate response to medical therapy and SET.[1]
