The side effects of anticholinergic drugs are well known. Peripheral adverse effects are, amongst others: dry mouth, dry eyes, blurred vision, constipation, fecal impaction, urinary retention and increased heart rate. Central adverse effects are: cognitive impairment, dizziness, confusion, and, even delirium.
