EFIM is delighted to relaunch the Fellowship programme which is designed for all members of EFIM national societies who want to be part of a global community that share the same vision.
EFIM Fellowship is a professional credential that recognises and rewards physicians for their outstanding achievements, and contribution to internal medicine and the community.
EFIM Fellowship will give the leading internal medicine physicians the ability to connect with one another, network and engage through numerous EFIM acivities and become a vital part in engaging into the European network of internal medicine.
EFIM Fellowship designation will allow you to:
- Gain sector-wide recognition for your expertise and knowledge
- Consolidate and keep track of your engagement and developmenting in internal medicine activities
- FEFIM designation and FEFIM Diploma
- Free registration to EJIM (on a first come first served basis)
- Entrance to the Fellow Lounge during ECIM
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for EFIM Fellowship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Work in a country that is an ordinary or associate member of EFIM
- Be specialised in internal medicine and have been practising for more than 3 years
- Be recognised as a teacher and have given presentations at national or international congresses
- Have attended or plan to attend an ECIM congress or have published a paper in EJIM
- Be a long-term active member of their national society
- Have the candidacy supported by their national society member
