Sunday, 4 July, 2021 - 09:00 to Tuesday, 6 July, 2021 - 17:00
Event Type: Congresses

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to kindly infomr you that the 11th International Congress of Internal Medicine, has been postponed to take place from 4 - 6 July 2021 at Royal Olympic Hotel in Athens, Greece.

The postponement was based on multiple factors, including the travel restrictions in many countries, and, most importantly, the toll currently being placed on our health care community. On a social level, all countries have cancelled meetings and group activities for the next couple of months. We would like to thank all of our congress delegates, invited faculty members and supporters for their cooperation and understanding during this extraordinary and difficult time.

The Congress will be organized by the Institute of Internal Medicine and Hepatology, the Department of Medicine and Research Laboratory of Internal Medicine of the University Hospital of Larissa and under the auspices of the University of Thessaly Medical School, Larissa, Greece and the Hellenic Society of Internal Medicine.

The congress is also endorsed by the Foundation for the Development of Internal Medicine in Europe.

With the experience of 10 International congresses, we promise to organize an outstanding scientific meeting and we are delighted to welcome you in the exciting and historic city of Athens, one of the great European destinations. Every two years our congress gains in maturity and experience, and the 11th edition promises to provide to the scientific community the kind of information and education needed to help all specialists evolve even further in science, research and clinical practice.

The Organizing committee is preparing a program which meets and successfully merges with the deepest, strongest and most diverse qualities of participants, established international scientists and experts and hope that this year the congress will beat its own records of participants, overcoming the number of 800 attendees from all over the world.

The scientific program will keep the traditional form of the abstract based sessions providing the young-and not only-colleagues with a great opportunity to present their work, research and clinical experience through oral presentations and e-posters covering various fields of Internal Medicine. We look forward to welcoming you all in the 11th International Congress of Internal Medicine to exchange views and share experiences with other high level professors, colleagues and friends, representing many well-known Universities and Medical Institutes together with members of relevant international organizations.

We are confident that the Congress will represent for all participants an unforgettable personal and professional experience!

With my warmest regards,

Prof. George N. Dalekos
President of the Organizing Committee
