The article “Long-term inhaled corticosteroid treatment in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cardiovascular disease, and recent hospitalization for exacerbation: A pragmatic randomised controlled study” provides valuable insights into the management of COPD patients with cardiovascular comorbidities [1]. However, there are several clinically important aspects that are not addressed in the study but should be considered for a comprehensive understanding of the subject.
