The pandemic outbreaks of coronarovirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) is associated to a higher risk of complications and mortality in older patients because of their greater complexity and the frequent coexistence of frailty [1]. In Italy, 19.4% of cases are aged ≥80 years; they have a death rate as high as 30.8% [2].
