Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) has experienced a great development in the last decade. As it was initially used in emergencies, it accelerated the diagnosis process and improved the diagnostic accuracy through different scanning protocols and its integration into habitual medical care [1], but also it played an important role, as shown in the COVID-19 pandemic [2].
