Hypertension is one of the most common comorbidities which has been suggested to play a pivotal role in the transition to pre-frailty and physical frailty (hereafter called frailty), especially in elderly adults [1,2]. Frail hypertensive elders typically develop cognitive and physical impairment [3,4]. In our previous works, we have observed the beneficial effect of L-Arginine on cognitive and physical function in cardiovascular diseases [5,6]. On the same grounds, Vitamin C has been shown to have salutary effects on the aforementioned functions [7,8].
