Length of Stay (LOS) is a widely recorded metric used in hospital management and considered an important indicator of healthcare efficiency [1]. In this context, thresholds for hospitalization duration and rehospitalization rates have been proposed as quality indicators to enhance the sustainability of acute care services [2].
