Heart Failure (HF) affects more than 64 million people worldwide[1]. While the incidence of HF has stabilized, its prevalence is increasing due to the ageing of the population, improvements in the treatment of major causes (e.g., coronary artery disease -CAD) leading to better survival, and the availability of evidence-based therapies prolonging life[1].
