Welcome to the EFIM Spring newsletter!
As the new President of EFIM, I am honored to serve and represent EFIM over the next two years, and I will do my utmost to promote further growth of the organisation.
Additionally, I would like to congratulate Prof. George Dalekos from Greece who was elected future president of EFIM and I welcome him to the Executive Committee.
I also would like to welcome personally our two new members: Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, RCPE and the Mexican College of Internal Medicine!
It was a great pleasure seeing so many of you at ECIM 2023 in Athens during our highly successful congress, that brought together more than 1400 participants. It was a congress to remember! In addition to enjoying a magnificent scientific programme, there were many opportunities to meet, network and share experiences in internal medicine.
Full report is enclosed.
We will work hard with the Executive Committee on raising the bar even higher for the future congresses as we are already engaged in the preparations for the ECIM 2024 in Istanbul.
We will continue to advocate for the importance of internal medicine within healthcare systems continue the work on the update of the EU Curriculum, launch new Clinical WG and extend the content on the EFIM Academy.
Please remain engaged with EFIM and take advantage of the many benefits and opportunities available through our Federation.
Finally, I would like to tell you what we achieved in 2022 introducing to you EFIM 2022 Annual Report!
Thank you for your commitment and support to EFIM!.
Sincerely,
Ricardo
EFIM President
