First Forum on Hospital Medicine and Co-Management

Dear colleagues, We are extremely honored to invite you to the First Forum on Hospital Medicine and Co-Management, to be held in Barcelona on November 23d. the Forum is organized by the Department of Internal Medicine of the Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron. Hospital Medicine is becoming a new way of understanding in-hospital medical assistance, provided by internists, so-called “hospitalists” in USA, where it first began in the nineties of the last century. Co-management in surgical and medical services is the way that it may be adapted to many other countries in Europe and throughout the world. the 1st Forum on Hospital Medicine and Co-Management is supported by Spanish Society of Internal Medicine (SEMI), the American Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) and endorsed by EFIM. It will be a great opportunity to know about Hospital Medicine in USA, Europe and Spain, and attendants will be able to change experiences with the experts in this field, which expands Internal Medicine.
