Di Caro et al. reported an interesting article on “preparedness for the management of a patient with Ebola [1].” Di Caro et al. discussed on the added value of long-lasting preparedness. Indeed, Ebola is a present global public health concern. It is no doubt that preparedness is necessary for all countries. However, the important questions to be answered are “what” and “how” to prepare. The long-lasting preparedness will not be useful if it is not correctly prepared. There is no recommendation on how long the preparedness should be done.
