The presence of bendopnea (lack of air that occurs during the first 30 s while bending forward) in the population with heart failure (HF), both stable (ambulatory) and decompensated (hospitalized) has been studied during the last years [1–4]. Its prevalence in stable heart failure patients (SHF) is around 28% and in patients with decompensated heart failure (DHF) is increased to 48.8%, but its changes during admission has not been studied yet. This 30% difference may be related to treatment, congestion or HF decompensation.
