Save the Date - 11th EFIM Day 

Mark your calendars for the 11th EFIM Day, taking place in Brussels on Friday, October 16th, 2026.

The 10th EFIM Day took place on Friday, 17 October 2025, marking a decade of EFIM Days gathering EFIM national societies leadership, representatives, and invited guests.
We had the pleasure to celebrate 10 years of sharing knowledge and European insight with participants presenting 25 EFIM national societies members at the Crown Plaza Brussels Airport hotel.
The 10th EFIM Day opened with a presentation by Prof. George Dalekos, EFIM President, who provided a comprehensive overview of EFIM’s activities and achievements since March 2025 following the congress in Florence.

EFIM is delighted to announce that the ESIM 2026 Winter School will take place in Bari, Italy, from 15 – 21 February 2026.
This edition will be held under the leadership of Prof. Francesco Dentali and organised by FADOI Italy, who will be hosting the ESIM Winter School for the very first time.

The ESIM Winter School offers a unique educational experience for young internists from across Europe, combining high-level scientific sessions, case-based discussions, and interactive workshops in an atmosphere that encourages professional exchange and international networking.

It is our great pleasure and honour to announce that the 10th EFIM Day will take place  in Brussels on Friday 17 October .
We would like to extent an invitation to the Presidents, the Board Members and the Young Internists of EFIM National Societies to join EFIM in discussing different Internal Medicine’s topics on a European level including EFIM new projects and current activities.

The meeting will include presentations on upcoming projects and activities of EFIM including guest speakers from the EU community, as well as presentations from EFIM National Societies.

The 9th EFIM Day was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Friday, 18 October. We were delighted to host representatives from 19 EFIM national societies, fostering lively discussions and an exchange of valuable experiences.
Prof. Ricardo Gomez Huelgas, EFIM President, opened the meeting by welcoming participants and expressing gratitude for the support and contributions to EFIM’s initiatives over the past year.

FDIME Announces the 19th FDIME-EFIM Clinical Research Course, Paris from 9 - 11 October 2024.

We are pleased to announce that the following EFIM General Assembly will take place on Wednesday, 6 March  2024 at the Istanbul Congress Center in Turkey.
The meeting will take place prior to the 22nd European Congress of Internal Medicine, ECIM, 2024

We would like to extent an invitation to the Presidents, the Board Members and the Young Internists of EFIM National Societies to join EFIM in discussing different Internal Medicine’s topics on a European level including EFIM new projects and current activities.

We are pleased to announce that the following EFIM General Assembly will take place on Wednesday, 15 March  2023 at the Megaron Congress Center in Athens, Greece.
The meeting will take place during the 21st European Congress of Internal Medicine, ECIM, 2023 joint with the 12th International Conference of Internal Medicine, ICIM.
