There is a lack of current data about training programs in Internal Medicine as well as disparity in their approaches. A 69 item survey was carried out and given to 39 residents of Internal Medicine attending the 2015 European School of Internal Medicine (ESIM) at Sardinia. 38 of them completed it and handed it back to us. After dividing respondents between groups, 17 of them categorized as South and 21 as North, we analyzed the data with SPSS. The survey reveals some similarities and many differences still in IM residency.
