Of the hundreds of cannabinoids that have been identified in the cannabis plant, the most well-known are Δ9-Tetra-Hydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) [1,2]. Cannabis chemovars are classified as THC-predominant, containing 10% to 20% THC and less than 5% CBD, or CBD-predominant, containing 10% to 24% CBD and less than 5% THC [3].
