Human health is influenced by a myriad of factors, including genetics, environment, and behavior. One behavior that has received significant recent attention is the impact of sleep on human health. While numerous studies have established a strong relationship between sleep duration or quality and metabolic health outcomes [1–3], the relationship between the timing, rather than the amount, of sleep and health is less well understood.
