Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) is widely used for assessing the perfusion of specific organs or lesions. While CEUS has been extensively studied in outpatient settings, its use as a bedside method is still limited, apart from preliminary data in trauma and during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic [1–5]. Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) has become an invaluable tool in internal medicine, enabling clinicians to rapidly diagnose, monitor, and guide treatments at the patient's bedside with real-time imaging [6,7].
