We sincerely appreciate Shoulin Dou et al.'s interest in our article, and we are grateful for their constructive comments, which have certainly contributed to raising awareness of the significant shortcomings in the approach to cardiovascular (CV) risk management in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients [1,2].
