The research by Lotta Ljung et al. [1] offers valuable insights into extra-articular manifestations (ExRA) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) yet has room for improvement. The questionnaire-based approach for ExRA symptom identification followed by medical record review has some drawbacks. Over-reporting (except PF) and low agreement between patient and medical reports raise concerns about data accuracy. A detailed discussion on reasons and solutions, such as a better questionnaire design or added validation methods, is needed.
