We accept the solicitation to express opinions on the proposal from the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) about sharing data generated by interventional clinical trials among the scientific community [1]. We believe that the proposal may be an opportunity to make a new progress for medicine and that this choice can be useful to open several possibilities from data elaboration; however, the responsibility of handling such data must be warranted by an international committee.
