We would like to share with you the outcomes of our study revolving around the routine use of diuretics in acute heart failure (AHF). The topic is of great interest, and although many studies and trials tackled the issue of selecting the correct initial dose of intravenous diuretics in AHF, the consensus remains divided between several international guidelines. We tried to look into this topic with a descriptive study in our emergency department.
