A 73-year-old male presented to the dermatology department following a 5-day history of vesicular rash accompanied with serious pain in the left waist and abdomen. Constipation-associated symptom concurrently. The patient self-purchased and applied methylrosanilinium chloride solution before seeking medical consultation. Initial physical examination revealed a unilateral vesicular eruption of the left T11-T12 dermatomes, and a soft, nontender protrusion of the left abdominal wall without any palpable mass (Fig.1).
