Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is an acquired thrombophilia characterized by the presence of confirmed antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL) positive testing with thrombotic events potentially occurring at any level of the vascular bed [1] with a negative impact on the quality of life (QoL) [2].
