Multinational cross-sectional survey on preparedness of European Internal Medicine residents regarding obesity management: The Internal Medicine Residency Programs Obesity Survey – Europe (IMeRPOS)

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the EFIM Working Group on Diabetes and Obesity, we kindly invite you to help us disseminate a brief survey among your members. The goal is to assess how obesity education is integrated into internal medicine (IM) residency programs across Europe.
The survey is anonymous and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. It is aimed at individuals familiar with IM residency training curricula.

Feelings and Thoughts About the Role of Hospitalists: A Survey for European Internists.”

This survey aims to gather insights from internists to better understand perceptions, experiences, and expectations regarding hospitalists' roles in the multidisciplinary care of patients.

We invite all EFIM national societies to participate and share their valuable perspectives.

Dear EFIM Colleagues,

The Multimorbidity Working Group is developing Clinical Practice Guidelines for sarcopenia, focusing on the most relevant and pragmatic approaches for patients with multimorbidity.

To select the PICO questions, we highly value the invaluable input of clinicians who manage this issue daily.

We invite you to participate in a short 9-question survey designed to capture your insights and guide us in addressing key challenges in diagnosing and treating sarcopenia in in-patient clinical practice.

Spring Webinar: Cardiovascular Disease and Depresssion

We are pleased to announce the next webinar organised by EFIM Multimorbidity Working Group on the topic: "Cardiovascular Disease and Depresssion" will take place on Tuesday, 18 of June from 16:00 CET.

Survey on Point of Care Ultrasound in Internal Medicine in Europe

Dear EFIM Coleagues, Dear EFIM Members: 

Point of Care Ultrasound is a very useful tool for internists. In the recent years more and more physicians (including Internal Medicine specialists) are incorporating “insonation” in their daily practice.
The EFIM Ultrasound Working Group has prepared a short survey with the following objectives:  

Internal Medicine Ultrasound: 10 years on

Join a panel of thought-leaders and experts from Europe and the Americas in a discussion of lessons learned, challenges and possible solutions in the current landscape of internal medicine Point-of-Care Ultrasound.
The webinar will take place on 5 May at 5:00 PM CET and it will be moderated by Dr. Juan Torres-Macho, the Chair of EFIM Ultrasound Working Group and Dr. Irene Ma, Professor of Medicine and the John A. Buchanan Chair in General Internal Medicine at the University of Calgary.
