An Ebola Information Center has been launched by Elsevier in response to the World Health Organization's recent declaration of Ebola as an international public health emergency. This Information Center provides free access to all Ebola-related content across Elsevier’s journals, medical books and clinical resources.
The Foundation for the Development of Internal Medicine in Europe (FDIME) announces the of a new grant for EFIM Young Internists.
The funding is intended for research projects dedicated to AI applications in Internal Medicine.
A 15,000 Euros grant will be awarded.
Young internists (up to the age of 40 years) from EFIM member countries are the target audience.
The eligibility criteria must be met as stated in the Announcements.
Applicants are required to submit their own Research Project proposal.

The EFIM Clinical Research Grant 2026 aims to support innovative and collaborative clinical research projects in Internal Medicine, strengthening research capacity and fostering cooperation between EFIM Ordinary and Associate National Societies.
The grants are designed to encourage innovative research that advances patient care, promotes evidence-based practice, and strengthens the academic community within Internal Medicine.
As part of the upcoming ECIM session “Economic Priorities versus Patients’ Needs” on 27 March, we are gathering insights from EFIM national societies across Europe to better understand the role of internal medicine within different healthcare systems.
