We read with great interest the recent article by Hamaya et al. published in the European Journal of Internal Medicine [1]. The Authors conducted a comprehensive analysis of the impact of lifestyle factors on the incidence of hypertension over a follow-up period of 27–31 years. While the study provides valuable insights into the role of lifestyle modifications in preventing hypertension, we would like to suggest several additional areas for consideration to further enhance the study's impact and utility.
