Dear Editor, we would like to share some ideas on the article “The relationship between coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines and increased blood pressure: A word of caution. [1].”Although more proof would be required, Buso et al. noted that sustained blood pressure (BP) increase following COVID-19 vaccination appears to be a rare and transient event [1]. Buso et al. came to the conclusion that despite the alleged increased risk of hypertension following COVID-19 vaccine administration, vaccination should not currently be avoided in any particular patient population because the benefits of global COVID-19 vaccination still outweigh the potential risks [1].
