Kawasaki disease (KD) can result in coronary artery aneurysms (CAA), elevating the risk of coronary artery thrombosis in the later stage [1]. Intravenous immunoglobulin within the first 10 days after fever onset is the primary therapy for KD, which greatly reduces the incidence of CAA [1].
