Dear Friends,
As we come to the end of a very successful year for EFIM, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all of our member societies with best wishes for a prosperous 2017. The past 12 months have been marked by significant achievements, highlighted by the first independent European Congress of Internal Medicine in Amsterdam, the new EFIM Statutes and the approval of the European Curriculum of Internal Medicine. I believe we have every reason to be proud of our accomplishments and I look forward with enthusiasm to the coming year. It has been wonderful to observe the growth of EFIM in recent years and I am certain that together we will continue to raise the profile of internal medicine in Europe.
Finally, I thank my colleagues in the Executive Committee for their contribution and support and our Executive Manager, Aneta Trajkovska, for her tireless efforts and dedication to EFIM.
