EFIM Winter Newsletter

With the end of the year approaching, it is with great pleasure to see many new initiatives of EFIM being started and developed.
It has been a very busy and productive year for EFIM and we couldn’t have done it without the support of all national societies members, EFIM Working Groups and Subcommittees, EFIM Executive Committee, Young Internists, EFIM Journals, EFIM Academy and all volunteers actively participating and contributing to the success of EFIM.

We have launched the EFIM Academy during our 20th ECIM congress in Malaga, we’ve discussed the possibilities for a European Exam of Internal Medicine with EBIM, we have awarded the 1st EFIM Life Achievement Award during the very successful ECIM congress in Malaga and we have elected new Secretary General and new Treasurer. 
As we look back on 2022, I would like us to remind ourselves of all we have achieved to raise the awareness of internal medicine in Europe, set the need for the priorities and actions we have to take in 2023 and let us look forward to all upcoming EFIM projects in 2023.
