EFIM Spring Newsletter 2019

Welcome to the 17th edition of EFIM Newsletter

Another succesful EFIM Day was held at the EFIM Headquarters in Brussels on 15 March, bringing together around 80 participants who took active part in the discussions about current and future EFIM projects, exchanging ideas and networking. A special focus was given on the topic of Physicians' Burnout presented by Dr. Maria Panagioti from the Manchester University.  The session has been recorded and it's available on our website.
EFIM was actively present with an exhibition booth and a joint EFIM/ACP session on  "Transition of Care" given by Prof. Xavier Corbella, during the 100th Conference Anniversary of the American College of Physicians in Philadelphia in April building closer relationship with the ACP leadership.
EFIM is currently focusing on increasing EFIM’s involvement in the European Health Summit in collaboration with EFPIA, leading EFIM as Advocate of Internal Medicine for patients and physicians in Europe in the future.
Furthermore, the intensive preparations of the ECIM 2019 taking place in Lisbon from 29 - 31 August are ongoing.
