I read with interest the article by Pandolfi and Carreras about aspects in statistics which a clinician should consider to give the right weight to evidence, with particular attention to Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM) [1]. Agreement with Authors about the importance of shifting the statistical point of view from a frequentist to a Bayesian approach is consistent since it represents the natural method of assessing inductive/abductive scientific reasoning (starting from data and assessing the probability of effect, p(H0|data)).
