The main objective of Ultrasound Working Group is to improve the difusion and dissemination of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS)  in  the  clinical  practice  of internists in Europe. The first task of the Working Group is to produce a position document. This will  identify  clinical scenarios where ultrasound, applied at the point of care, may enhance diagnostic accuracy, assessment of prognosis or treatment monitoring. The Ultrasound Working Group will also define a POCUS training and proficiency framework.
