Carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (A. baumannii) (CRAB) is a cause of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) that can be devastating. Suggested approaches are based on literature review, clinical experience and expert opinion, as reflected in the IDSA guidelines [1]. We aim to highlight seven key points that may be useful for the management of CRAB VAP.
