Dear Editor, we want to congratulate with Rossi and colleagues [1] for their state-of-the-art review summarizing pathophysiological mechanisms, diagnostic criteria, classification and clinical management of adult anaphylaxis. It represents a comprehensive paper particularly useful to Emergency and Internal Medicine specialists [1]. Anaphylaxis, in fact, is a common disease, accounting for about 1% of accesses to Emergency Departments (ED) [2]. We completely agree with the Authors when they affirm that every organ and apparatus can be virtually involved by severe allergic reactions [1].
