We read with great interest the recent multicenter quality improvement audit by Gragnano and colleagues regarding diagnostic and therapeutic inertia in low density lipoprotein cholesterol management following acute myocardial infarction [1]. The authors highlight that a substantial proportion of patients fail to achieve target low density lipoprotein cholesterol levels, particularly those with high baseline levels. However, traditional post discharge titration workflows inherently delay target attainment.
