Cardiac rehabilitation (CR) is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary intervention that improves survival, reduces hospitalizations, enhances functional capacity, and increases health-related quality of life in patients with cardiovascular disease. These benefits have been consistently demonstrated across a broad range of cardiovascular conditions and have led to a Class I recommendation in most contemporary cardiovascular guidelines [1]. Despite this robust evidence base, CR remains substantially underutilized worldwide [2,3].
