Randomness describes non-deterministic events and is measured through probability. A Galton board illustrates this. Each pin represents a 50/50 chance of moving left or right, like repeated coin tosses or clinical risk factors. Many drops produce a normal distribution, where central outcomes are most likely and tail outcomes are rare (Supplementary Figure S1).
