MiRNAs. MicroRNAs (miRNA) are small non-coding RNAs, approximately 18–24 nucleotides in length, that negatively regulate gene expression either by inhibiting messenger RNA (mRNA) translation or by promoting RNA deadenylation and subsequent its degradation [1].
