Pharmaceutical shortages are currently a worldwide issue despite advancement in manufacturing and transport technologies [1]. Surprisingly, shortages still happen in many high-income countries too for some specific drugs such as antibiotics [2], thus regardless of the willingness to pay for them. Since our continent is not an exception, many European countries are striving to sort out this issue, in order to avoid any negative impact on patients’ life [3].
