I read with interest the study by Espejo et al. published in the European Journal of Internal Medicine. In this study, patients presenting to the emergency department with vague symptoms who met the study criteria were subjected to the clock-drawing test without distinguishing between young and old patients. This study aimed to investigate whether the clock-drawing test can identify cognitive impairment in the emergency department and its prognostic value [1]. I would like to offer comments on several aspects of this research.
